The Friendship Tea was a huge success with approximately 120 ladies ranging in age from 1
year old to 100 years old! The fare included fresh fruit cups, croissants, and quiche or
peanut butter and jelly “tea sandwiches” for those who preferred. The young ladies were
given an opportunity to choose a new hat to decorate with silk flowers and ribbons of all
designs.
